About Plum Ovelgonne
Plum was one of the first recorded British babies born in Dubai in 1969. She was brought up between The Sultanate of Oman and boarding school in England. She completed her Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Worthing Art College, worked as a photographer for the Australian army in Wagga Wagga, then for a fashion agent in central London before moving to Hanoi in Vietnam where she met her Dutch husband. Together they moved to Thailand, and South Korea, Singapore and The Netherlands. In 2003 their twin daughters were born in Seoul.
Plum currently resides in Singapore for the third time in her life. Living in the dreamy location of Alexandra Park, Plum is very inspired by the lush tropical vegetation, the historic black and white houses and stunning walks. Sometimes painting in oils at her easel in her studio and other times digitally drawing on location oher iPad.
